JOB OPPORTUNITY – Architecture Project Manager

Denise Hall Montgomery Architecture is seeking talented Project Managers to join our creative team. Our projects include high end residential construction, ranging from new construction to remodel and addition.  We also design small to medium scale community based projects with a non-profit clientele, including preschools, theaters and community organizations throughout the Bay Area. 

Education Requirements:  Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture 

Years of Experience:  3 to 5 years of office experience after completing education requirements stated above.

Other Requirements:   Position requires solid design skills and effective communication skills. Efficient and accurate production capabilities are a must. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and the ability to communicate design ideas through sketching and drawing is required. Experience in an Architecture office that includes work on design development and construction documents are a must.  Experience in construction administration is highly desirable. 

Responsibilities:  The position will have a heavy emphasis on document production in AutoCAD and SketchUp 3D modeling.  Specific duties for this position include:

  • Providing general support in all phases of planning, design and construction

  • Assistance in preparation of planning and design presentation graphics

  • 3-D modeling for presentations, promotional material, and design studies

  • An integral role in the preparation of construction drawings

  • Materials and fabrication research

  • Maintenance of accurate, current and well-organized project files

  • Regular communication with clients about project updates and schedules

Additionally, any experience in writing, working in a design/build practice, or any other computer software relevant to the practice of architecture will be considered favorably.

Hourly wage and benefits are commensurate with experience.
